RESOLUTION OF THE ANNUAL REVIEW OF COMPENSATION FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARDS OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS FOR DISTRICTS 2 and 3 IN THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON FOR CY 2025

WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:14-88 provides that each member of the Board of Fire Commissioners shall receive as compensation such amounts as each Board shall fix; and

WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:14-88 further provides that the compensation so fixed shall be subject to review by the governing body wherein the Fire District is located; and

WHEREAS, the compensation amounts for Jackson Township Fire Districts 2, and 3 are set forth on the attached “Schedule A”.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, that:

  1. The Township Council has reviewed the compensation for each of the Fire Districts 2, and 3 as set forth on the attached Schedule A, as required by N.J.S.A. 40A:14-88.
  2. Copies of this resolution to Fire District 2, Fire District 3, CFO, and any other interested parties.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey at their Re-organization meeting held on January 2, 2025.
