circulating within Jackson Township. Said notice of sale shall be published twice in two consecutive weeks and the sale shall not be held less than seven nor more than fourteen days after the last publication of said notice; and
WHEREAS, Jackson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids submitted for said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:
That the Township Council hereby formally authorizes the advertisement for receipt of bids at public auction as set forth within this resolution and further authorizes, acting under N.J.S.A. 40A:12-13, has authorized a public auction to dispose of various items to the highest bidder.
That upon the adoption of the within resolution, the Township Clerk is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of it to the Township Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Officer Mark Rodina and any other interested parties.

TITLE: AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 095R-17 AUTHORIZING PURCHASES FROM APPROVED COOPERATIVE PRICING SYSTEMS FOR CY 2017 BY INCREASING CO-OP CONTRACT #47-CPCPS #16-01 FROM $200,000.00 TO $368,000.00

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson, as a contracting unit may, without advertising for bids, purchase any materials, supplies, services or equipment under any contract or contracts entered into by the NJ Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury, for such materials, supplies, services or equipment pursuant to N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.29; and
WHEREAS, purchases made utilizing cooperative pricing meet the requirements of using a fair and open process; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council approved purchases/services from approved New Jersey Cooperative Pricing Systems for CY 2017 on February 14, 2017 by way of Resolution No. 095R-17; and
WHEREAS, the Jackson Township Police Department is seeking approval to increase the amount previously approved for Police Vehicles under Cooperative Pricing Contract #47-CPCPS #16-01 (Beyer Ford – term 9/27/17 – 8/31/18) from $200,000.00 to $368,000.00 for the purchase of six (6) Ford Police Interceptor Units; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable for the Township to utilize these cooperative pricing systems, as needed, and when it is in the best interest of the Township to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, does hereby authorize an increase to the amount previously established for Cranford Police Cooperative Pricing Contract #47-CPCPS #16-01 (Beyer Ford term 9/27/17 – 8/31/18) from $200,000.00 to $368,000.00 for the purchase of six (6) Police vehicles by executing a valid Jackson Township Purchase Order in accordance with proper Purchasing procedures and practices.
A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Municipal Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Chief of Police, Purchasing Department and any other interested parties.
