WHEREAS, such a resolution should designate the individual authorized to ensure the application is properly completed and timely filed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:

1. The Township of Jackson hereby endorses the submission of the CY2022 Recycling Tonnage Grant and application to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
2. The monies received from the recycling tonnage grant shall be deposited in a dedicated recycling trust fund to be used solely for the purposes of recycling.
3. Upon the adoption of the within resolution, the Township Clerk is authorized and directed to forward certified copies to Administration, Supervisor of Public Works, Irina Darrar (Recycling Coordinator) and any other interested parties.

TITLE: AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 070R-22 AUTHORIZING PURCHASES AND/OR SERVICES FROM APPROVED NEW JERSEY COOPERATIVE PRICING VENDORS FOR CY 2022

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson, as a contracting unit may, without advertising for bids, purchase any materials, supplies, services or equipment under any contract or contracts entered into by the NJ Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury, for such materials, supplies, services or equipment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12; and

WHEREAS, purchases/services made utilizing approved New Jersey Cooperative Pricing Systems meet the requirements of using a fair and open process; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council approved purchases/services from approved New Jersey Cooperative Pricing Systems for CY 2022 on January 4, 2022 by way of Resolution No. 070R-22; and

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department is seeking approval to amend Resolution No. 070R-22 to include the following vendors for CY 2022:

Vendor: Gabrielli Truck Sales

Contract: #CC-0129-21 (term 11/23/21 – 11/22/23)

Purpose: Parts & repairs, heavy duty vehicles over 15,500 GVW

Amount: $44,000.00

Vendor: Marco Holdings

Contract: #ESCNJ/AEPA-21C (term 3/01/21 – 2/28/22)

Purpose: Copier leasing

Amount: $60,000.00

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, does hereby approve amending Resolution No. 070R-22 whereby updating the list of qualified vendors thereon.

Copies of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Purchasing Department and any other interested parties.
