The following suggested course sequence includes all course requirements to complete the BSW Social Work (Online). Students can begin the program in fall or spring semester. Any remaining General Education or Social Work Prep courses from above are required in addition to the following suggested course sequence. A UC Success Coordinator in conjunction with Social Work (Online) program staff will develop a plan to provide the fastest track to graduation based on remaining coursework.
Students should consult with an UC Success Coordinator each semester to maintain appropriate degree progress and are fulfilling all requirements for the agreement. For details beyond course planning, please consult with a Success Coordinator or the Transfer & Transition Advising Center. The BSW Social Work (Online) program is a part-time program. Some semesters may require full-time status dependent on additional needed coursework. Please consult a financial aid representative for further information regarding part-time and full-time aid eligibility.
