We propose to furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to complete the following work, subject to all of the conditions appearing herein, whether on the face hereof, or the face or reverse or both of the attached sheets.
Scope (+/- 24,000 S.F.: Re-Roof w/ PVC Fleece Back roof system:
Remove loose gravel and prepare the roof surface to receive new membrane.
Remove the stainless-steel coping cap and retain for re-installation.
Remove wall and curb flashing.
Install 2x6 wood nailer at the open perimeter.
Mechanically Fasten 1.5-inch polyisocyanurate rigid insulation. Insulation is required by manufacturers to prevent the Coal Tar Pitch from heating up and therefore outgassing vapor that will affect the membrane.
Adhere Fleeceback 60 mil PVC single ply roof membrane to the new insulation.
On the walls and curbs install 4-inch gypsum separator board and adhere 60 mill PVC flashing membrane. Flash over the top of the parapet wall and down the face.
Install new PVC boot flashings at: plumbing VTRs (3), and lightning down leads (6).
Flash existing roof drains.
Fabricate and install 30 feet of new coping cap to replace the coping on the northeast corner that is damaged.
Fabricate new 22 gauge galvanized continuous cleat, 26 gauge stainless steel cover plates, and re-install the existing coping cap
Fabricate new edge metal from PVC coated metal.
