Clarifications / Exclusions
All structural and electrical engineering services related to signage design (sign and seal) are to be provided by others and must be coordinated with the Architect of Record, general contractor, or signage installer for final approval and certification.
Notable wayfinding and signage services that are not currently reflected in this scope of work:
- Directory map
- Temporary/phasing/construction signage
- Procurement and physical evaluation of materials, colors, mocks/prototypes or similar
- Signage master plan and graphic standards manual
- Tenant, art, or advertising standards
- Vehicular regulatory/warning signs such as stop/yield signs
- Workplace safety signs such as OSHA signs and tags, NFPA labels, or pipe and valve markings
- Development of branding or logo design
- Bidding phase services
- Construction phase services
- Any other type of signage not defined herein
- Any other project not identified herein
