PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
Apple Designs, as a subcontractor to AVCON, will work with the AVCON Team to ensure the development of an effective wayfinding signage program for the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) Project at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). Scope objectives include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop signage for SRQ GTC building interior. (30%, 60%, 100%)
- 100% building interior signage drawings will include, as necessary, location plans, message layouts, graphic layouts, details, and elevations.
- Conceptual design for vehicular and pedestrian outside the GTC building but within the project boundary. (30%)
- Review AVCON's design for signs outside the GTC building. (60%, 100%)
- Attend meetings as necessary for project coordination, including up to two (2) video meetings per submittal. (30%, 60%, 100%)
Technical Requirements
Project deliverables in PDF format. All deliverables to be submitted electronically.
SCOPE DEFINITION
Task 1: GTC Building Interior
Schematic Design (30%)
Provide design concepts to address the signage requirements as dictated by necessary architectural and messaging considerations. Typical deliverable will include:
- Sign Type Location Plans
- Sign Design and Message Layout Concepts
- Fabrication and Materials Notes
Design Development (60%)
Minor updates to Schematic Design deliverable to identify Client selected preferred design concept. Typical deliverable will include:
- Sign Type Location Plans
- Typical Sign Design with Sample Message Layouts
- Fabrication and Materials Notes
