GTC Building Exterior: Provide design concepts to address the signage requirements as dictated by necessary architectural and messaging considerations. Typical deliverable will include:
- A.Wayfinding and Signage Narrative
- B.Sign Layout Concepts
- C.Signage Design Concepts
- D.Fabrication and Materials Notes
1.8 Surveying
- A.Perform a 3D topographic survey of the project site area. Include all above ground features including trees greater than 4", utility appurtenances signage, site lighting and any other physical features.
- B.Perform Subsurface Utility Exploration to locate existing utilities on site both horizontally and vertically. Test Holes shall be performed at least twice on each utility identified to verify depth and at enough locations to confirm horizontal alignments.
1.9 Geotechnical Engineering
- A.Mobilize personnel and equipment to the site. Coordinate utility clearances through Sunshine One Call and the airport.
- B.Perform a subsurface exploration program consisting of the following:
- Lounge Building – Perform one (1) Standard Penetration Test (SPT) boring within the proposed Lounge building footprint to a depth of 25 feet below grade.
- Canopy Structures – Perform SPT borings within selected canopy foundation locations. Tierra anticipates performing borings on approximately 100-foot intervals along the canopy footprint to depths of 15 feet below grade.
- Pavement Design—The AVCON Team will perform pavement cores in the existing pavement to determine the current pavement sections (thicknesses and type).
- C.Measure and record groundwater levels following completion of each boring.
- D.Grout and/or backfill all borings to the surface and thoroughly clean work areas of loose debris, soils, mud, etc. Following pavement cores, asphalt patch will be placed from the bottom of the existing base course to the pavement surface.
- E.Visually classify the samples in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS) soil classification system.
