The SARASOTA MANATEE AIRPORT AUTHORITY will meet in PRIVATE with its attorneys and its Chief Executive Officer pursuant to s. 286.011(8), F.S., on March 23, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Dan P. McClure Auditorium in the terminal building, 6000 Airport Circle, Sarasota to discuss pending litigation to which the entity is presently a party before a court. The subject matter of the meeting will be confined to settlement negotiations or strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures. The entire session will be recorded by a certified court reporter. The persons who will attend, in addition to Airport Authority Members, and the court reporter, are: the Airport Authority Chief Executive Officer, Fredrick J. Piccolo; the Airport Authority general counsel, Charles D. (Dan) Bailey, Jr.; and the Airport Authority litigation counsel consisting of Lewis M. Hall, III; Charles F. Ketchey, Jr.; and William A. McBride, The session will commence as an open meeting at which the Chair will announce the commencement and estimated length of the attorney-client session and the names of the persons attending. At the conclusion of the attorney-clients session, the meeting will be reopened, and the chair will announce the termination of same. A transcript of the meeting will be part of the public record at the conclusion of the litigation.
