The US 27 study limits fall within the jurisdictional boundaries of both the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD). From the southern study limit to approximately 5.1 miles north of the county line, the study limits are within the SFWMD jurisdictional boundary. The remaining study limits are within the SFWMD jurisdictional boundary. Based on the preliminary permit research, the following permits were identified within the study region:
