The community garden aligns with the Department's mission to preserve and improve the physical, social, and economic health of Pasadena neighborhoods by delivering inclusive, innovative, and progressive recreational and community service programs. The garden is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a member of the Los Angeles Community Garden Council, which provides administrative support to a large network of community gardens in Los Angeles County."
