"text": "My research project involved video game development and balancing. The process involved creating a typical game level so that no player would find it too easy or too hard. First I had to conduct an experiment to see what type of game would be popular. Next, I started to fiddle with the source code to make it comfortable and enjoyable for the player. Then, I got my participants to test out the game for five iterations. After each trial I changed the source code to modify the game difficulty without alerting the players. When each subsequent trial was over I asked them to rate the difficulty on a scale 1-5 with one being the easiest, and 5 being the hardest. I had a sample size of 10 people to participate and generated enough feedback to create a histogram visualizing the results. Results of the survey indicate that my game was balanced.",

"text": "When it comes to creating a video game it’s not as easy as people might think. It requires a lot of time, dedication, and patience in order for the game to be playable. A video game involves manipulating images produced by a computer program that can be further manipulated based on player input or feedback. A video game is controlled by a source code developed using a programming language, in this case, Python. This code can be used to control all details including imaginary characters, the motions of the characters, the objectives of the game, and most importantly, the player’s experience with the game."
