            "text": "The External Auditor made a statutory recommendation to the Authority in February 2025 under section 24 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 in connection with the late publication of the 2023/24 Statement of Accounts. The Authority formally accepted the recommendations at a meeting in March 2025. The 2023/24 Statement of Accounts are now formally approved and await the issue of the Audit Certificate before publication. The Authority expects to publish the 2024/25 Statement of Accounts before the required statutory deadline."
