More than 4 million people visit Presque Isle State Park annually. Although the State Park is the main attraction there are several other significant assets that attract people to the district including Scott Park, Waldameer Amusement Park, Colony Plaza, West Erie Plaza, and a variety of other local businesses. These district assets along with Presque Isle State Park play an important role in serving regional and local residents and visitors. Together they make significant contributions to the local economy and the quality of life for Millcreek residents. The Presque Isle Gateway District Plan looks to create a cohesive district that leverages these assets and builds a character and quality of place that drives economic development to serve residents and visitors."
