We have created two new 1-hour courses designed to support candidates in the areas of literacy and mathematics, as they prepare to take a standardized exam (CASE) required for admission to the Biology Education Program. These courses will be offered for the first time in fall 2016. Initiatives also are underway to revamp our ed prep curricula, to imbed cultural competence into our teaching, and to partner with P-12 teachers in course instruction."
