The guests were from Cape Verde, Ghana, and Nigeria, and were sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. The distinguished guests shared their views and experiences from their respective countries about women in entrepreneurship. Likewise, community business leaders, such as Irma Johnson and Lindsey McGaha discussed the African-American experiences and challenges in the enterprise system. Faculty members from the School of Business discussed elaborate comparisons of entrepreneurship in both areas. KSU students were in attendance and participated in the program."
