            "text": "Since I am not reviewing her entire portfolio for this promotion, I cannot definitively determine if she meets all the criteria for promotion as outlined in the Faculty Handbook. The one criterion that we always debate in my previous experiences on various Tenure & Promotion Committees is the peer-reviewed work. I have alerted Dr. Sluss about this, and requested she provide evidence to the Committee that her articles were indeed peer-reviewed, such as printing out article criteria from the various journals in which she has published. Once this list of “peer-reviewed” publications is definitive, it will be up to the Committees to determine if this is a “substantial” body of work (using Faculty Handbook language) considering others who have achieved the prestigious rank of full Professor."
