            "text": "Dr. Sluss has contributed to the collegial governance of the university by serving on several university, senate, and divisional committees. Currently Dr. Sluss serves as the biology area coordinator. In the short period of time as the biology coordinator, Dr. Sluss has managed to lead the biology team to develop course SLOs, SLO matrices, review SACS Compliance Report, review the biology articulation agreements, and search for funds to purchase microscopes and other scientific equipment which cannot be purchased by laboratory fees. She has led other committees such as MASC Scholarship Committee and the Recruitment/Retention Committee. Dr. Sluss is involved in a number of community services. The high quality of her community service is evidenced by the letter of recommendation from Dr. Judith Li."

            "text": "I have to note that Dr. Sluss had not included a number of student evaluations in the dossier unintentionally. I did not notice that when checking the dossier and signing the check list. After the Unit Committee brought this to my attention, Dr. Sluss found the student evaluations and provided a copy to be reviewed by the Committee. The Committee decided not to review or allow the inclusion of the student evaluations in the dossier. I did review the student evaluations and included them in the green folder with the Chair's documents."
