            "text": "Kentucky State University (KSU) has not performed well in its persistence rates for the 2009 and 2010 cohorts. However, through a reclamation project, KSU has identified and guides students through Project Graduate to complete their degrees and continues to do so. The current persistence rates of 26.2% for the 2009 cohort and 22.5% for the 2010 cohort are undesirable and KSU is working to improve its persistence and graduation rates through the use of numerous retention tools. However, these tools have not been designed in a way that works collaboratively towards the goal of graduation. Neither have they been structured to demonstrate accountability in their impact on persistence and graduation rates."

The results expected are that the institution will demonstrate accountability and impact on the persistence and graduation rates of its students by providing a more systematic and substantive support network for students at KSU."
